We went to Parlick Hill which is near Beacon Fell in poor weather. on a good day paragliders and the like hover over the hill but not this day! to be honest its a short steep climb and as on the picture the top is marked by an iron rod inserted in a pile of rubble! we got to the top and once we over the over side the dreaded 'no dogs' sign stopped us in our tracks again! argh! there was a fence with that sign and also one saying 'danger unexploded shells' so we got out of there! ;)amy tried to make a call from the top but because it was so exposed and had little signal it wasnt happening. the wind was howling over the top almost enough to knock you off your feet!
